What are the festival prices?

Regular admission is $30 in advance, $35 the day of the festival

Designated Driver admission is $10 in advance, $15 the day of the festival

VIP admission is $55 and is only available in advance

What does festival admission include?

Regular festival admission includes:

  • A FREE souvenir wine glass
  • Wine samples at each winery booth
  • Admission to MWF spring craft market with a variety of unique vendors
  • Free live, local music all day
  • Access to 10+ local and regional food trucks with special festival menus

What does VIP festival admission include?

VIP admission includes a variety of goodies including:

  • One hour early admission to beat the crowds to your favorite wineries
  • Access to exclusive VIP area with light snacks, sweet treats and non-alcoholic beverages, open from noon to 5 p.m.
  • Other gifts to be announced

Can I buy wine by the glass or bottle?

Festival attendees will be able to purchase glasses of wine or wine slushies during the festival. Bottles can also be purchased to enjoy during the festival, or taken home. The festival will have a plan to store your purchased bottles for pick-up.

Where can I stay overnight?

We've partnered with Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne Downtown at Grand Wayne Convention Center for an awesome deal: overnight room accommodations for up to four people, breakfast for two and TWO tickets to #MWF2019 (extra tickets available for purchase with package). Space is limited! More details to follow!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we bring tents, chairs?

Chairs and blankets are welcome! Feel free to set up near the festival stage. Please do not bring tents of any kind. 

Can I bring my child or pet?

No, no one under the age of 21 will be allowed to enter the festival grounds. Pets are prohibited, also.

Will there be security?

Security is provided for the safety of guests. Security reserves the right to remove those showing signs of extreme intoxication.

Is there shuttle transportation?

Shuttle service will likely be provided from downtown hotels. Watch our social media for uber discounts, too! Or walk and enjoy the beautiful downtown scenery.

Night Wine at the Line FAQ

What is the race route?

The race will wind through Headwaters Park East, past the Old Fort, along the River Greenway and into downtown Fort Wayne before we reach the "finish line" at Rudy's Shop.  

Where do I get my wine?

Wine at the "finish line" will be awarded at Rudy's Shop, 409 W. Brackenridge Street, near Parkview Field. Enjoy wine and other snacks while you enjoy some post-race live music at the post-5K block party.

Runners will receive their wine ticket at check-in. Tickets can be presented at the end of the race to receive the complimentary glass of wine. Additional glasses of wine (or beer) are available for purchase. A shuttle will be available to take runners back to Headwaters Park.

Is the race chip timed?

No, the Michiana Wine Festival Wine at the Line 5K is a fun run and is not timed in any way. Runners are encouraged to keep their own time, if desired.

Do I have to be 21 to run?

Yes, due to the "prize" of wine at the line, participants are required to be 21 years or older. ID will be checked at registration and may be requested at Rudy's Shop, also,

Will I receive a t-shirt if I register after April 10?

Yes, but we can't guarantee that the preferred size will be available for runners who register after April 10. Shirts are first-come, first-served if not pre-ordered.
